Raid Schedule

Day: Thursday, Friday, Saturday

Time: 8pm EST, 7pm CST, 5pm PST

Redfang - bat crowd control team

This page is set up to describe what people assigned to the OT team will be doing during the Redfang event.

initial setup

In order for things to go smoothly and to expedite our setup prior to and during engagement, the channel will have a leader in charge of instructing what needs to be done.

All the associated chat will be co-ordinated in the following channel:

FLTanks
Password: tanks
Leader: Redbrick

Note: If the above leader(s) isn't online, someone else will be in charge of setting up the OT team and it'll be made clear who that person is in the channel.

For this particular event, the person in charge is carefully chosen and it's important to please follow his / her instructions.  If you're not sure on any element of what's being explained, please ask in the FLTanks channel.  There's no need to be shy about anything, if you ask in the channel, someone else may not have understood the same thing and it benefits everyone by having it clarified.

adds and timing information

The section marked below in RED, is what OT will be handling.

When Redfang appears, over the course of about a minute, 4 blooddrinker bats will spawn.  They will respawn instantly if killed.

After Redfang is up for 4 minutes, he will despawn and a large number of voracious bats will spawn on random people.

The voracious bats are mezzable and killable using a damage root type spell (Entrapping Roots / Vinelash Cascade).

About a minute after the voracious bats pop, Redfang will respawn and the event continues just as before.

during the battle

During engage, the four blooddrinker bats will be up.

Warriors, Paladins, Shadowknights - Off tank one bat each.  Remove any and all forms of Damage Shields you have on.  Do not turn your back to a bat ever.

Clerics, Druids, Shaman - Keep your assigned tank alive.  DI if possible.

Shaman - Slow the bats, or sloth your tanks to help with agro.

important info - please read

Try not to OT your bats near Redfang.  Stay down by the gather point.

These bats backstab, so never turn your back on them.

When you have your blooddrinker bat, say so in the FLTanks channel.  Keep communication open in the tank channel, if you're in trouble for healing, or DI etc, say so in there.  Thanks.
