Devlin emote information

This page is set up to describe some of the emotes you may encounter during the Devlin Rochester event.

public weapon change emotes

Devlin will give a warning emote so we can run out of range before he AE's and changes weapons.

Devlin Rochester frowns and discards his weaponry, 'You have been lucky thus far.  Leave this place at once before it becomes your tomb!'

When you see this emote, you have 10-15 seconds before the AE goes off and he changes weapons.

Devlin Rochester retrieves armaments from the rack!

public shield break emotes

When we successfully break Devlins shield reflect, he will emote the following: Devlin Rochester says 'Arggh!  Soandso shattered my shield!

public targeted emotes

When Devlin is using his potion & shield combo, he will randomly target two people at a time and emote the following to each of them:

Devlin lobs a glass vial exactly where Soandso is standing!

Where that person was standing when they got the emote is the spot the AE will go off:

A bottle of caustic liquid shatters nearby.  You have taken 12000 points of damage

personal targeted emotes

When Devlin is using his whip & shield combo, he will randomly target people and send emotes to them.

Example emote: Devlin's whip snaps around your weapon and he prepares to brace himself.  You should remove your weapon.

Failure to follow the emote results in damage:  A tug of the whip brings you to your knees.  You have taken 10000 points of damage.

Devlin also does a 'you should duck' emote, similiar to above.
